The Andrea gown is a strapless sweetheart A-line wedding gown in lightweight satin with a front slit, available to rent from $680 or purchase made-to-order from $2,268. Clean, modern, and effortlessly chic, Andrea is for the bride who knows that the most powerful statement is often the simplest one.
Named after Andrea Ghez, the astrophysicist and Nobel laureate who helped prove the existence of black holes, this gown carries that same quality of quiet brilliance. No embellishment needed. No excess. Just the precise confidence of a woman who has nothing to prove and knows exactly where she's going.
The draped sweetheart bodice crosses at the centre in soft pleated folds that frame the neckline without overwhelming it. The satin skirt falls in a clean A-line from the waist, parting at the front in a thigh-high slit that adds movement, lightness, and a flash of the unexpected. In photographs, Andrea reads as effortlessly sophisticated. In person, she feels even better, lightweight, easy to move in, and comfortable enough to wear from the ceremony to the last dance.
Andrea works everywhere. The minimalist silhouette translates across venues the way only truly elegant things do, equally at home in a modern art gallery, a California vineyard, a rooftop in the city, or a white-sand beach.
A note on fit: the front slit falls naturally with movement and doesn't require management. The draped bodice is lightly structured to hold the sweetheart shape, secure without feeling restrictive. Satin is a smooth, sleek fabric that drapes beautifully but shows the body's natural lines. If you prefer a more forgiving fabric, consider trying Andrea alongside one of our softer tulle options.
Available in sizes 2–20. Also available made-to-order from $2,268, brand new, produced to your exact measurements.
